Faculty of Science Majors
From applied cryptography to mobile computing, Computer Science will help you develop strong algorithm analysis and design skills in procedural, object-oriented and low-level languages. Our Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science program provides the hands-on experience that is key to understanding computing fundamentals with an optional introduction to functional, parallel and logical paradigms.
Gain insights into the human brain and human behaviour by studying the biological aspects of psychology. Study significant sub-fields of psychology and take complementary science courses in the natural and life sciences. In your upper years, you can participate in hands-on research with innovative faculty. This program is combined with Computer Science.
Data-driven decision making has become an industry standard, creating unprecedented demand for data-oriented professionals to analyze patterns and models for all kinds of data, with applications ranging from scientific discovery to business intelligence and analytics. The first undergraduate degree of its kind in Canada, the Data Science program addresses the data-related needs of modern business industries.
Laurier’s Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Financial Mathematics program is structured to teach you mathematics and its financial applications with a focus on how mathematics is connected with social science and business.
